In this class, you'll be learning how to start a Mosaic piece from the ground up, using a different base (than the MDF board usually used), sealing it, applying a hanger, incorporating ALL KINDS of Glass Beads, Fused Glass cabochons, metal beads, charms, found objects, ceramic, shells, broken plates, word or letter squares, Ornaments, whatever has a flat bottom surface, etc. into your Mixed Media Mosaic Project! Lastly You'll learn about grouting options. This class will be held in my Home Studio.
YOU WILL BE COLLECTING, BRINGING, AND USING whatever objects you'd like to incorporate, PLUS find others + Glass available in the class, to make your project a Very unique & personalized one!
You'll also need to bring a Wheeled Nipper for cutting up glass pieces to include in your project, especially if you want to do unusual cuts. I have a few Glass Nippers to share, but this tool is very different from Wheeled Nippers.
We'll be creating on a flat surface, maybe a Mirror (which will be available) or you can create a picture, or an abstract piece... depending on how you plan your piece w/your ideas and objects to incorporate plus guidance!
