Create keepsake Holiday Ornaments for the Season! Students will be using a variety of fusible glass and fun glass additions to create their holiday Ornaments (for any denomination). Students may create an Ornament based on One of (2) methods: 1) Use specific shapes to decorate; OR 2) Cutting pieces of glass & arranging into an Ornament. Comfort w/glass cutting suggested; but not necessary. All materials, firing, instruction, & tools included in class cost. Additional Ornament creation will incur an additional fee. 3 Hours. Class allows for 8 people: 4 in each room. (DATE & TIME SET WHEN REGISTRATION RECEIVED!)
Create: A Christmas Ornament; 2 Hours. All Levels Invited! (DATE & TIME SET WHEN REGISTRATION RECEIVED.)
Each Student will enjoy creating a Christmas/Holiday Ornament in a chosen color using a variety of small glass pieces (Frit); No glass cutting. Students will learn how to create the mold for the ornament, then arrange glass within. A Christmas Ornament can include either Shape/Ball, a Bell, a Tree, or other pictured ornaments; or Create for your own Holiday (Confirm w/Instructor prior to Registering). Create: A Holiday Icicle Ornament! 2.5 Hours (DATE & TIME SET WHEN REGISTRATION RECEIVED)
Using a variety of Powder & Fine Glass Frit, create a CAST Whimsical Ornament for gift, display, plant, garden! Each Student has a choice to create w/own colors from a palette of beautiful glass! An N-95 Dust Mask is available in class for purchase (always used when working w/powdered or fine glass, unless you have/bring your own N-95 Dust Mask).
Ornaments to Create are: Poinsettia, Gnome, Bundled Kitty, or a Unicorn! Ornaments are 7.5-9" tall. These are perfect gifts as well for the holidays. Class Cost Includes: Glass, Mold, Instruction, Materials, Tool-Spoon (Frit Tool Kit purchased separately, see below), and 1 Firing. Additional Ornament (or other) creation will incur an additional Fee, if time. Glass Projects can take 1-2 weeks for Firing; can be picked up OR Shipped (add’l. Shipping fee required). Two People in same class time cannot create the same Ornament!
A special Frit Tool Kit (to be used in this & other Frit project classes) can be purchased for an additional fee of $20, payable in class.
