FUN WITH Mosaics!
In These Mosaic classes we do a combination of different types of Mosaics:
*Mixed Media
*Mosaics on a Backer Board (Heart, Tree, Garden & Animals, etc.)
*Stepping Stone
*Garden Pots & Trays
*Coming Soon: GOG Mosaics (Glass on Glass)

*Classes at Studio are small (Usually 2-4 people) to ensure individual attention.
*Most Mosaic projects are completed in several parts:
Planning the Design, Adhering Items to a Base, then Grouting.
*A "Grouting Party" may follow another day to teach student how to Grout & finish off their mosaic creation. Students may also Grout their piece the same day, depending on the Class; however this is rare.

CREATE: A FAVORITE MOSAIC HANGING/STAKE! 4 Hrs. (DATE & TIME SCHEDULED WHEN REGISTRATION RECEIVED)
Greetings Glass Mosaic Lovers! In this Fun class, you'll be learning a *New* way to start a mosaic piece using a waterproof base, applying EASY hangers, different types of adhesion techniques for indoor/outdoor hanging OR a Stake (Add'l. Charge), PLUS you'll Learn about grouting options! You can:
- Create a Mixed Media Mosaic for only $69: A Favorite with ALL KINDS of Glass Beads, fused glass cabochons, metal beads, charms, found objects, ceramic, shells, broken plates, word or letter squares, whatever is hard, flat, and can be secured in the grout, etc. into your Mosaic Favorite project for the Mixed Media Mosaic! Pictures are included of a Mixed Media Mosaic for reference (Gecko tail & the mirrored piece, Dragonfly, and Angelfish).
Favorite Mosaic Base Choices include: Angelfish, Dragonfly, Frog, Gecko, Heart, and Shamrock. Please choose one to create when Registering. The Cost of $69 includes a Hanging System. A Stake (instead of a Hanger) is an add'l. Fee, as is a Mirror; Please Inquire.
The Bases are approx. 11" - 12" wide; several bases that may be more expensive & are wider/taller at 15". You will receive the base & quality metal hangers (to apply) to hang your piece (VERY EASY application) OR to use as Stake (additional fee & easy installation also) prior to the mosaic of your base. A *Grouting Party* is always scheduled (during class) for Students to return another day to Learn How to Grout their pieces!
If you choose to create the Shamrock, student will need to add additional time to complete as the Shamrock is larger than the rest. The Shamrock is available by Special Request Only and is $82.
In this class... we'll be creating on a flat surface, you can create a specific design or an abstract piece... depending on how you plan your piece w/your ideas! :-) Class Cost includes all misc glass and mosaic tiles mentioned above, mosaic base chosen, Instruction, Supplies, Tools (Glass Nippers only [BRING Wheeled Nippers]) for this Hanging/Staked Favorite Mosaic! A Stake (instead of Hanger) is an add'l. Fee and can be added below when choosing the Mosaic Type. A Mirror is an add'l. Fee & can only be added to the Heart or the Shamrock, Please Inquire.

Create: A Mermaid Mosaic! 4-5 Hours. (DATE & TIME SET WHEN REGISTRATION RECEIVED)
This Mermaid is waiting to be decorated with personality! Students can enjoy designing their own Mermaid with beautiful glass and other types of mosaic add-ins! Each Member's Mermaid will be sealed and hangers applied prior to Class. Size of Mermaid: 15-1/2" tall x 11" wide. All glass, materials, tools, grout, and Instruction are included with Class Cost.

CREATE: A Mosaic Garden Pot! 3 Hours. (DATE & TIME SET WHEN REGISTRATION SUBMITTED.)
Come for a creative session to create a mosaic Garden Pot using Glass & ceramic, to display or to fill with a favorite plant! This Class is broken up into 2 days to allow glue to dry before grouting.
Students will be creating their own design with the various glass & ceramic pieces (plus any other materials available) using the Mixed Media mosaic design. The application of materials to pot will be accomplished in one day. Then Students are invited to a "Grouting Party", to finish their pieces!
All materials, tools, and instruction are included in Class Cost: Sealed terracotta pot, Glass, Ceramic, Adhesive, Grout... and more! If Garden Pot is not finished, in amount of time given, student is welcome to stay to finish for an add'l. hourly charge. REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS!
