CHRISTMAS IS COMING!! Create: A Holiday Poinsettia Bowl! 2-DAY Class; TUESDAY, SEPT 22 & 29, 2026; 1:00-5:00p - ONLY (1) SPACE LEFT!
Create this beautiful 11" Holiday Poinsettia Bowl with Glass Frit (Frit = very small pieces of glass including powder)! No previous Glass experience needed; Glass Cutting Optional. Perfect class for most ages - 16+. A textured Round ceramic 10" x 10" casting mold of the Poinsettia Flowers is used. A set of tools to use for Glass Frit application are offered separately for $20. Generally, a 10" x 10" size plate takes most Students 6-8 hours (or (2) 1/2 days). Additionally, a clear 10" round piece of glass must also be cut & sanded to accompany the glass-filled mold into firing. Students may cut glass themselves or Instructor will do for an add'l. fee. If Student doesn't finish in first class, they are welcome to return to Studio to work on the next Scheduled Day for completion. If Student does not finish in the required time (6-8 hours), an additional hourly fee will be added until completion.
All pieces will be fired as first a plate then a Bowl -- it's just Perfect for the upcoming Holiday Season! Additional time needed to complete plate will incur additional hourly Fee. All Glass, Spoon, Instruction, and (2) firings included in Class Cost. A set of tools to use for Glass Frit application are offered separately for $20. Colors include various shades of green, red, brown or choose to create this bowl with off white and red/pink flowers, including green and brown accents. Please let Glass Instructor know your colors in advance to ensure plentiful glass supply!
Glass Projects can take 1-2 weeks for Firing; can be picked up OR Shipped Priority Mail w/Insurance (add’l. Shipping fee required). Breakage from shipping is not the responsibility of the Artist & this Studio. Customers are advised to take up Shipping issues with USPS. Custom Orders for this piece are also accepted for an add'l. fee.
